Florida!!

This is what my Memorial Day weekend looked like!

My sister and her family live near Destin, Florida, I couldn't leave the country without seeing her to say goodbye, and I hadn't seen my nephew in 2 years... was a trip to Florida long overdue and calling my name?!  YES!  

The majority of the weekend was spent outside by Angie's pool, or shopping, but on Friday, my Mom and I took Noah to the Florida State Park Caverns while my sister and brother-in-law went to work.  It was something I'm sure little boys get a kick out of, but for me, being underground, squeezing through openings 2ft x 4ft, and experiencing absolute darkness for 30 seconds was enough to put me in a straight jacket.

...But this little guy had a blast and wouldn't let go of mine &/or my Mom's hand (she's in the green), and that made the 45 minutes underground not so bad!

Florida, oodles of time with my favorite little guy, the beach, a pool, my sister, and lots of alcohol made for the perfect way to spend the Memorial Day weekend!
